Raw goldenrod honey crystallizes naturally quickly, so it is recommended that you transfer the bulk honey to smaller containers. We recommend using glass jars.
Crystallization is a natural process occurring with raw honey and is a sign of quality. If you wish to de-crystalize your honey jar the best way is to place it in a bowl of warm water or in a slow cooker on a ‘low’ setting.
Heating the honey up to 115f will not harm its natural good qualities, and the honey will re-crystalize again over time.
Keeping your honey in a warm place will slow down the crystallization process.
